About - clarkgraber
(Romans 1:20a) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen.....

I picked up my first 100$ Point and Shoot camera in 2008. My wife and I actually bought it just to be able to have pictures of our honeymoon. Through that I discovered photography and I have been enjoying it ever since. I have since upgraded cameras. Only few of these were actually taken with my first 100$ camera.

I do photography for the fun of it and I take pictures of things that catch my eye. I believe photography is an art just like music. Our eyes are attracted to things that have a sort of harmony if you will. I believe that God has designed the natural so that it is visually appealing. The key is to capture the various "chords" and to carry them home.

I am cross eyed. I can' t see 3D. My eyes naturally see a 2D picture and it looks to me much the same way it looks on a computer screen or paper. This allows me to see compositions that I don't think I'd otherwise see and yes I do have an artistic side. It is the way God made me, and I give Him the glory for it.

Most of the pictures you see on this site are taken in Northern Wisconsin and on the North and South Shores of Lake Superior. I call it home and I think it is beautiful. My goal is to capture the beauty and to share it with others. My objective in photography is not to one day create a one million dollar photo, but to take a picture that will bless a room in someones house.

    Thanks for stopping by!!
